EAST DEVON JUNIOR LEAGUE 2009

OPEN ORDER OF MERIT

1. Players must be members of Crediton, Sidmouth, Honiton, Woodbury, Fingle Glen, East Devon,,Okehampton, Exeter, Tiverton or Exminster & must be under 18 on 1st January in the year of the competition, with a maximum handicap of boys 28 & girls 36.

2. The entry fee will be £20 p/club (made payable to Honiton juniors & sent to Adrian Cave) the entry fee to be used to purchase prizes for the top 5 in the order of merit & split first 30%, second 25%, third 20% fourth 15% & fifth  10%.The winner also to win a trophy to be kept for one year.

3. Each open to be played as a handicap medal, entry fees to be decided by host club.

4. Order of merit points will awarded to the top 50 net scores & ties in each open with 50 for the lowest & 1 point for 50th.  If less then 50 play the order of merit points will be reduced accordingly, there will be no points for no returns.

5. The top 5 positions in the Order of merit will be the total points scored by each player taking their best seven results. In the event of a tie positions will be decided on the highest points scored in any one open.

6. Any disputes relating to this order of merit must be referred to the EDJL Chairman whose adjudication will be final.

7. Open results to be sent to the EDJL Chairman within 48 hours of completion of the open, an up to date order of merit table will then be published on Tiverton’s website.
